Switchpoint exists because the existing comparison web is broken. Every "Top 50 X alternatives" listicle ranks whichever vendor pays the most. Every "Best Y for Z" post is a 4,000-word affiliate page that won't name a winner.
We do the opposite. Hand-picked shortlists of 3–5 tools. One clear top pick per cell. Real trade-offs listed, not hidden. If a vendor pays us, that never changes the ranking.
Editorial byline
Reviews are bylined to Switchpoint Editors. Switchpoint's editorial team — independent reviewers who buy, run, and switch SaaS tools so the rankings reflect real teams, not vendor pitches.Every page carries a "Last reviewed" stamp so you can see when the editor last re-verified pricing, free-tier limits, and the top pick.
What we publish

- Industry shortlists — re-ranked for the way each industry actually buys software.
How we make money
Some outbound links are affiliate links. When you sign up through one, the vendor pays us a referral fee. This never changes a ranking. If we recommend a tool with no affiliate program (or with one we can't join yet), we still recommend it.
What we refuse to do
- · Take payment to change a ranking. Ever.
- · Publish 50-tool listicles. If we can't pick a winner, we don't ship the page.
- · Hide trade-offs. Every pick has a "what you give up" section.
- · AI-generated walls of text. Every page is editor-reviewed before publish.
